In a 30-point originating summons, Dikko Inde averred among others: That sometime in July, 2014, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th accused persons jointly wrote, edited a five-page article titled Dikko’s Customs Stinkswith the rider “Presidency shops for replacement” and published same in the July, 2014 edition of the magazine.

he summon also stated that the said article concerning the complainant was false, malicious and baseless.According to the summon, the article in question was highly defamatory, libelous, mischievous and a calculated attempt to destroy the hard earned reputation and professional career of the complainant.
