Dayo Amusa is one of the actresses breaking barriers in the movie industry. The actress carved a niche for herself with action roles and recently by bringing actors from English speaking part of the movie industry into her Yoruba flick titled ‘Unforgivable’.
Unforgivable is an informative and educative movie which evoked emotion, pity, love and regret. It also created awareness for domestic violence, marital issues and uterus cancer.
Dayo Amusa was the ideal wife of Mike Ezuruonye, who is so engrossed with marital issues that she neglected her own personal health which led to cancer. Mike Ezuruonye, the protagonist of the movie played a unique character of a bad boy, while Desmond Elliot, the antagonist, played the character of a peacemaker and a responsible boy, who missed out on getting love and affection of Dayo Amusa which she rejected with the hope of changing Mike Ezuruonye, the bad boy, for good.
With catchy dialogue and exceptional directorial input from Desmond Elliot, Unforgivable star talents like Mike Ezuruonye, Fathia Balogun, Bimbo Thomas, Niyi Johnson, Bukky Wright, Dayo Amusa herself and many more.
According to Dayo, “The reason behind Unforgivable is to put an end to domestic violence and also to pass a message to women to go for proper medical check up regularly.”
Unforgivable will be premiered on the last Sunday in October 2013 and would be shown at the cinema in November. The movie is distributed by Blue Pictures
