In a 30-point originat­ing summons, Dikko Inde averred among others: That sometime in July, 2014, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th accused persons jointly wrote, ed­ited a five-page article titled Dikko’s Customs Stinkswith the rider “Presidency shops for replacement” and pub­lished same in the July, 2014 edition of the magazine.

he summon also stated that the said article concern­ing the complainant was false, malicious and baseless.
According to the sum­mon, the article in ques­tion was highly defama­tory, libelous, mischievous and a calculated attempt to destroy the hard earned reputation and professional career of the complainant.
