An indication of Obiano’s growing popularity as a result of his 100 days performance

More commendations have continued to come in for Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano on his performance in office within the first 100 days, with the latest plaudit coming from Ndi Anambra, living outside the state.
They praised him as the best choice the people could have wished for as governor in this era, saying his stellar performance in the first 100 days was proof that Ndi Anambra made a good choice.
An indication of Obiano’s growing popularity as a result of his performance  emerged in a recent opinion poll conducted among the people of the state resident in Abuja and Delta State respectively, to coincide with the celebration of the performance of the governor within 100 days in office.
In particular, Anambr
a citizens resident in Delta State praised the governor for his untiring efforts to take the state to the next level, describing him as a great man of action.  A leader of Anam community in Anambra West Local Government Area residents in Delta State, Albert Obiorah, said Anambra indigenes  living outside the state, particularly  Delta State,  were surprised  at Obiano’s giant strides, within a short time in office.
Obiorah hailed Obiano for ridding the state of hoodlums in the state, a situation that seemed hitherto, impossible to previous governments, stressing that the conducive environment had boosted investment in the state. He said the Upper Iweka axis, which was once a no-go area, had become a relaxing centre for travellers.
Also speaking, Mr. Chibuzo Iloh, the Public Relations Officer of the Igbo Community in Delta State said from the outset, Governor Obiano demonstrated a good knowledge of what Ndi Anambra needed as a technocrat of high repute, who was desirous of turning the state into a heaven of sort.  Iloh stated that the entire Igbo in Delta were proud of the governor, urging him to continue with the good work he had started.
In his own assessment, member of the House of Representatives representing Awka North and South Federal Constituency,  Emeka Nwogbo, described Governor Obiano as an achiever, who had brought his wealth of experience to bear on the development of the state.
Nwogbo hailed Obiano for his determination in ensuring effective security in the state, which he said was very vital for development.
According to Nwogbo: “Without security, no businessman will come to invest in Anambra State but just under three months, Ndi Anambra are already enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the state made possible by our indefatigable and action governor, Chief Willie Obiano.”
He  added: “We are greatly happy for our son for his courage and great strides in tackling the major problem in Anambra State which is security. Let him keep the flag flying, we are solidly behind you.”
He urged the State Chief Executive to prevail on the Commissioner of Police in the state to curtail the activities of his men and officers along Onitsha-Owerri road, accusing them of harassing, intimidating and extorting money from traders and travellers.
